For my Painting And Printmaking class, I created this Abstract Painting which includes different brands and Location of things such as Ford, Shell Gas Station, Starbucks, etc. I created this painting by first off, making a collage of different pictures of things found in different magazines, and then by taking one square of the collage out of the entire thing and made a sketch. I just chose things for my collage that I thought might look well together. I then painted it on my final board. The things that I used to create this painting was pretty much just my painting board, a brush, acrylic paint, and my collage. For this project, I really liked actually painting the project because it was fun to be creative and change the ideas of the painting as I went along painting it.
