I am in a Principles of Design for a semester two art class for my senior year at Lincoln Lutheran. In this class, we learn about the elements of art and the principles of basic design. We made this cityscape piece design out of a variety of pencils designed for different color shading and to help add value to the art. This piece is a two point perspective drawing to help create value and depth within the drawing. I really enjoyed this project because it was really fun to see the drawing come to life and make it look like a real street and buildings in its own unique way.
