I am in a Principles of Design for a semester two art class for my senior year at Lincoln Lutheran. In this class, we learn about the elements of art and the principles of basic design. We made this portfolio out of ink and shoe string where we whipped it around the page to make all the black stripes and dots. After we let it dry, we drew on a variety of colors to represent emotion through the color that we chose to draw on there. I really enjoyed this project because it was really fun to work with the ink and shoe strings to try and see what kind of different designs we could make out of the ink in a very unique way.
